Almost all Induktor 50/60 Hz toroidal transformers (up to 2000 VA rated power) have been approved in conformance with EN 61558 and bear the certification mark.


The mark certifies conformance to

-for safety isolating transformers (no load voltage up to 50 Vac)
IEC 61558-1:1997, mod. and (Safety of power transformers, power supply units and similar / Part 1: General requirements and tests) and IEC 61558-2-6:1997 (Particular requirements for safety isolating transformers for general use)

-for isolating transformers (no load voltage from 50 Vac to 1000 Vac)

Induktor GmbH has an UL and CSA basic approval (UL 506/ CSA C22.2 No.66). 50/60 Hz transformers with voltages up to 600 V and rated power up to 3000 VA are given the certification mark.

Our standard production is done in conformance with EN 61558. Of course, all relevant regulations, for example VDE 0750/ EN60601/ IEC 601/ UL2601) are taken into consideration for transformers designed for special applications (for example , electric medicinal devices).
